
Captain Rodolph VINET, from the operations branch EUROGENDFOR Permanent Headquarter of Vicenza, is attending the « UN Formed Police Units (FPU) Train the Trainers » course in Cameroon. This 8 weeks training is the first to take place in the location of the International School for the Security Forces (École Internationale des Forces de Sécurité or “EIFORCES”) in Awaé, 50 kilometres eastward Yaoundé.
An FPU consists of approximately 140 police officers, trained and equipped to act as a cohesive unit capable of accomplishing policing tasks in the “high-risk” environment of UN police missions.
The training, dedicated to commanding staff and instructors, comprises refreshment on basic police techniques and tactics, firearms training, specialized UN Police Training, public order management and support to higher risk operations.

37 officers and NCOs are participating into this French language course from 9 different countries.
