Mr Kenneth Deane, Director of the EU Civilian Planning and Conduct Capability (CPCC) and Civilian Operations Commander, paid a short visit to the European Gendarmerie Force Permanent Headquarters (EGF PHQ) in the framework of EUPST II exercise in Vicenza.

This was the first visit of the CPCC Director in the PHQ, and an opportunity to review with the EUROGENDFOR Commander the Force contributions to the EU Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP) and wider cooperation with the European External Action Service (EEAS), including inter alia:
– Contribution to EU Civil Missions and military operations;
– Training in theatre by visiting experts;
– Planning works in support of CPCC and Civil missions…
The high-ranking visitor signed the Guestbook before continuing his visit to the EU police exercise EUPST II.
