The EUROGENDFOR Specialized Team in EUCAP Somalia Mission, composed by 3 members of the Spanish Guardia Civil and 2 from the Portuguese Guarda Nacional Republicana have successfully achieved the objectives assigned for this first iteration, advising the Somali Police Force Maritime Police Unit (SPF MPU), providing training on navigation skills and boat handling, including Search and Rescue (SAR), as well as other Maritime and Coast Guard related activities.
