EUAM RCA

The EU Advisory Mission in the Central African Republic (EUAM RCA) was established in December 2019 to provide the Ministry of the Interior, the police and the gendarmerie with strategic advice to support their transformation into coherent and effective security actors that respect the legal framework.
Since September 2021, EUROGENDFOR has been involved in the mission providing strategic advisers in areas such as training, interoperability, and police security.
The mission mandate was extended until 7 August 2026, also known as ‘Mandate 3′.
The PSC decision (CFSP) 2024/2796, dated 22 October 2024, extends José Manuel Marques Dias’ mandate as EUAM RCA Head of the mission until 9 August 2025.
