The 16th of February 1791, the French Gendarmerie Nationale is established by Law in replacement of the “Maréchaussée”. To commemorate this date, since 1993, it has been decided that the 16th of February will be the day of the Solemn celebration of the victims of duty of the Gendarmerie. #EUROGENDFOR is joining the French Gendarmerie contingent of Vicenza for this celebration. #lexpaciferat
