Recently, members of the Mozambique Defence Armed Forces (FADM) participating in the Train-the-Trainers programme carried out a validation exercise demonstrating the work performed over the previous 12 weeks with EUMAM MOZ mentors. The GNR military officer assigned to this mission provided specialised training and mentoring during this programme on counter-terrorism, also monitoring the implementation of the validation exercise.
The final exercise was attended by the Commander of the EUMAM MOZ Mission Force, Brigadier-General Luís Barroso, the Commander of the Independent Company of the Katembe Marine Corps, Lieutenant-Captain Xavier António Madondo, among other entities, who watched the simulation of an amphibious operation on Catembe beach.
