Colonel Pawel Grajek

Polish Żandarmeria Wojskowa

Colonel Paweł Grajek was born in 1980 and grew up in western Poland. In 1999, he began his training as a cadet at the Military Academy of Land Forces in Wrocław. After graduating, he joined the Polish Military Gendarmerie. During his twenty years of service, he served in various roles and areas of interest within the Polish Military Gendarmerie. From 2005 to 2006, he was posted as a platoon leader in the Polish Military Gendarmerie detachment in Żagań. From 2006 to 2010, he served in the same unit as a staff officer and a criminal intelligence specialist.

From 2010 until 2012, he was appointed commander of a territorial unit. In 2012, he became head of a department in a Polish Military Gendarmerie detachment.

In 2017, he was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and transferred to the Polish Military Gendarmerie Headquarters, where he took up the post of Head of the Special Operations Department. Eight years later, he was promoted to the rank of colonel as head of the Criminal Intelligence Division at the Polish Military Gendarmerie Headquarters.

He also graduated from the National Defence Academy in Warsaw.

During his career, he was deployed four times:

In 2007, he was deployed to Bosnia and Herzegovina as part of EUFOR.

In 2008, also with EUFOR, in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In 2011, he was deployed to Afghanistan as part of ISAF, and in 2015 as a member of RSM in Afghanistan.
