The EUROGENDFOR Reserve Formed Police Unit (RFPU), deployed in EULEX mission in Kosovo, has in its operational capabilities, Gendarmes trained and certified in Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC).
These capabilities are an added value to law enforcement officers, to support others and as well civilians during crowd and riot control operations, when first aid is needed, mainly regarding trauma life support and there are no security conditions for differentiated medical aid.
This RFPU gendarmes are entitled to provide intensive training to the other gendarmes from the operational branch of the Unit, enhancing its operational responsiveness. LexPaciferat
