Catembe hosted recently a final field exercise, marking the culmination of the recent counterterrorism training cycle for the Mozambican Armed Defence Forces (FADM) under the EUROGENDFOR contribution to the EU Military Assistance Mission in Mozambique (EUMAM MOZ).
The exercise brought together FADM instructors and trainees for a comprehensive simulation integrating the key elements developed throughout the Train-the-Trainers programme ā including tactical planning, amphibious operations, detainee handling, and interoperability with other Mozambican security forces.
This activity also marked the completion of the mandate of the current Counter Terrorism Advisor (CTAD), whose dedicated service and professional engagement have been instrumental in advancing the FADMās autonomous training capabilities and enhancing their preparedness to address terrorist threats.
