NOVEMBER ELEVEN POLISH INDEPENDENCE DAY

On 11 November 1918, with the end of World War I, the country began the process of rebuilding its statehood, and that date later became a national holiday. The Polish National Independence Day marks the restoration of Poland’s sovereignty in 1918 after 123 years of partitions, reestablishing Poland as an independent nation.
