On 21–22 April 2026, the EUROGENDFOR Permanent Headquarters in Vicenza hosted a Workshop on Treaty of Velsen Review, PHQ Structure and the New Rotation Plan, bringing together representatives from all eight Member States.
With written contributions received from all Member States ahead of the event, discussions focused on:
- Modernising the PHQ structure to meet evolving crisis‑management demands
- Enhancing flexibility and continuity through alternative rotation models
- Reviewing the Treaty of Velsen, nearly two decades after its signature, to ensure the legal framework keeps pace with EUROGENDFOR’s growing ambitions
Conclusions and formal proposals will be submitted to CIMIN for decision.
