On 10 June 2011, the United Nations’ Secretary-General Assistant in the DPKO paid a visit to the EUROGENDFOR PHQ Staff in Vicenza.
After being welcomed by the EUROGENDFOR Chief of Staff, Mr Dmitry Tittov was briefed on the European Gendarmerie Force and its operational commitments as well as on the management and deployment of its forces in different missions and scenarios. The High Representative showed special attention on the police functions EUROGENDFOR forces could perform implementing different UN mandates.
